How would you describe your dance style?
My main dance style is Poppin and i try to push myself every time to bring it to the next level and test myself. I let the music help my moves and my dance if musics going one way and im going another then its not connecting right so when i dance i really try to make a connection to the music so its a very free and limitless style. im also getting better at other styles too just to increase versatility n passion for other styles.
What continues to inspire you to dance?
What continues me to dance is music seems like every time i come home or go out theres a new song playing which makes me wanna get down and songs that i havnt heard for a long time jus gives me inspiration to try new things to it and go harder. Inspiration as well is the opportunity to represent myself and Australia at an international level and show other countries that Australias got good stuff. Also the young guns coming out (young as in just getting into it) seeing people working hard at their dance and being able to help them any way i can. Also my brother Keanu whos been able to accomplish things that took me 3 to 4 years which keeps me going.
As a dancer, what are your goals?
My goals as a dancer is to have as much fun with my dance as possible and always put 100% into anything im doing with it. I want to compete overseas and represent for Australia. Helping the newer people in the Poppin scene to grow and get better.
What would you say to anyone aspiring to be a dancer?
Patience yo! i know that results are always wanting to be seen by everyone but everything takes time so just work at it and you will get there.
How often do you dance?
in one day.... as much as i can
