THE DEFENDING 360 SOLO CHAMPION ON THE INSIDER WEEKLY
By Jerome Valencia
November 22, 2009

Hate being left out of the cyphers and battles? Try learning all the styles. Not an easy task, but that's what the next guest of the Insider Weekly is continually pursuing. As one of the busiest dancers this year, competing in all the major dance competitions, Oli is the defending Solo Division champion of 360. Oli was one of the original hip hop dancers dating back from 5 years ago,  competing at local freestyle battles in clubs against the likes of Nachopop and others, in a time when freestyle battles was still quite new in the country. He started out as a popper and has developed into a successful bboy, competing in bboy battles such as Dk 24 and Platform 2 - Hip hop festival in 2009, to name a few. However his passion in displaying different grooves and expanding his knowledge in other styles such as locking and krump, has helped him to succeed in events like 360, where the dancer is challenged to adapt his ability to freestyle to different types of tracks. This passionate veteran of hip hop dance from Manly, Sydney, has proven to be diverse and a well rounded dancer who is not limited to any style of hip hop.

Don't miss out this week, as Oli takes some time off his busy schedule to sit down with us as the next guest on The Insider Weekly. What has inspired Oli to dance? How does this champion rate the different elements of his own ability? Who would he love to battle in Australia? Tune in on The Insider Weekly featuring Oil, streaming online on Tuesday evening on the 24th of November only on CriticalHype.com - "Home of Australia's Hip hop dance."
