Note to all the vets in the dance community: sleep in fear, because the up and coming dancers are taking in the things you do that makes you great, then adding some.
Its great to be able to say that the hip hop dance scene here in Australia is on the rise, with senior dancers like Bboy Don, Lama, Daisuke, Scrappy, Chux, to name a few, continually raising the bar and rewriting the books on what was hip hop dance in the country. Now as we look forward to the future, be proud to say that there are those who will undoubtedly raise the bar so high that we might as well ask the Olympic Pole Vault team to compete. And one of those dance prodigies, is Chino. This high school kid representing Parramatta is a self taught dancer, specialising in breaking, waving and hip hop. He has competed in the major comps this year, like 360, amongst others. And as he looks to continue to improve himself, expect nothing less but great things from this freestyler.
Who is this young dancer? What inspires him to dance? Who would he like to battle in Australia? Find out on the next episode of The Insider Weekly featuring Chino, streaming online on the 3rd of November on Critical Hype.com.
