What better way to welcome 2011 than to celebrate street dance and all its different dance styles with a. exciting 1on1 dance battle event. Critical Hype proudly presents its newest event, "Australia's Prodigy". The battle is scheduled to take place at The Roundhouse, UNSW on the 22nd of January. Some of the dancers registered to battle includes, 360 United solo freestyle champion, Chux, former 360 solo freestyle champion, Oli-olz, Bj, Fatrick, 2010 SYTYCD top 20 Gaz Griffith, 2009 SYTYCD top 100 Jet Valencia, plus many more. Judges includes international and national judges, Mamson (France), Sheru (Qld), Poppin' Jack and Jfunk.

ABOUT AUSTRALIA'S PRODIGY
Australia’s Prodigy is a freestyle dance battle event organised by Critical Hype, featuring the country’s finest street dancers. The competition format is a 1 on 1 dance battle, with 4 divisions including popping, hip hop, bboying and house. For the finale of the event, the winners of each division will have the opportunity to battle each other to determine Australia’s Prodigy.
Each division will be judged by some of the most influential and most respected dancers from around the Australia and France.
Australia’s Prodigy will be held on the 22nd January 2011, taking place at the Roundhouse, UNSW at Kensington NSW.
