A LEAGUE OF HIS OWN: REECH ON THE INSIDER WEEKLY

One of the reasons why the Krump movement is strong and continues to grow in cities like Melbourne and Sydney, is because of how it is lead by the senior krumpers. With senior Krumpers in Sydney like Alpha'Wun and Scrappy, who continually battled many obstacles to keep krump moving forward in Australia, one of the many reasons they deserve all the respect they get in the krump community. However, just like in many systems, sometimes it has flaws, a flaw that was recognised by a fellow krumper known as Reech. He made a decision to take some actions, thus starting a new home for krumpers, to lab and to session, risking heat from other krumpers.

Standing at 6'5, Reech leads a new stable of krumpers in their home turf know as the "Corner" which is located outside Central Station, on Elizabeth St, along with the dominant krumper Shutdown. They helped mould new dancers to become respectable and exciting krumpers like Jet aka Twin Reech, Spineless aka Lil Shutdown, Zulu and the rest, by providing an atmosphere which they believe as the right way to welcome dancers to krump. The two groups may have some differences in beliefs in developing new krumpers, however they remain respectful to each other and often battle in sessions.

The Insider Weekly featuring Reech, will be streaming online on CriticalHype.com on Tuesday evening, on the 1st of December 2009. What inspired Reech to dance? What other style would he love to do? How does he rate his skills in dance? Find out on the next episode of The Insider Weekly brought to you by Critical Hype.
