ABOUT CRITICAL HYPECritical Hype is a street dance company organising events such as 360, the Sydney event of the Australian Hip Hop Championships, and the Prodigy. We also organise the dance events at the Bring It On Festival for youth week at Farifield Showgrounds and the Street Style Battles at the Australian Dance Festival. Our local community dance programs for youth are sponsored by local councils, such as the Auburn City Council and the Fairfield City Council. We feature shows, interviews, photo galleries, videos, and dancer profile pages our website CriticalHype.com. Our mission is to empower revolutionary ideas towards the progression and growth of street dance to benefit the community. Our vision is organising events on the streets of the moon.

Our approach includes: - Building the profiles of street dancers, through events, videos, and dance programs. - Promote the different styles of street dance such as, hip hop, krump, bboying, popping etc - Generate more exposure and opportunities for dancers to make a living out of dance. - Introduce dance programs for youth in areas where dance opportunities are lacking. - Interact with the youth in promoting dance as an alternative lifestyle. - Continue working with youth in discovering and developing their talent. - Expose new dancers, regardless of cultural and religious socio-economic background or physical abilities, sexuality or gender, to a larger scale of audience. - Provide work experience opportunities for the youth. - Continue working with youth to be part of the community.
