The site is viewed nationwide and is currently visited by more than 30 different countries all over the world.

Since its introduction in 2008, CriticalHype.com has had a profound impact on the dance industry. Dancers look forward to be given the opportunity to be exposed to a larger scale of audience. The idea of a dedicated online channel for dancers created a central location for the fans and dancers for news, videos and promotion.  CriticalHype.com is created and supported by its parent company, Critical Hype.

CriticalHype.com aims to:

-    Provide media coverage to events all around Australia.

ABOUT CRITICAL HYPE

Critical Hype is an entertainment company dedicated to street dance in Australia. Our aim is to promote the different styles of street dance such as, Hip hop, Popping, Bboying, Krump and many more. We organize dance events such as 360 United and Sydney event of the Australian Hiphop Championship. We also coordinate community dance programs such as Prodigy, and we operate an online channel called CriticalHype.com featuring shows, interviews, photo galleries, videos, dancer profile pages, and more media coverage of all things related to street dance.

Our goals are to:

-    Introduce dance programs for youth in areas where dance opportunities are lacking.

-    Interact with the youth in promoting dance as an alternative lifestyle.

-    Continue working with youth in discovering and developing their talent.

-    Provide opportunities for dancers to make a living out of dance.

-    Provide exposure to new dancers, regardless of cultural and religious socio-economic background or

     physical abilities, sexuality or gender, to a larger scale of audience.

-    Provide work experience opportunities for the youth.

-    Continue working with youth to be part of the community.
